For the 2026 plan year we will offer a comprehensive major medical and prescription coverage plan to all of our benefit-eligible employees.

2
00:00:10.500 --> 00:00:24.400
The Health Plan is offered by United Healthcare, a member focused carrier that provides easy access to your benefits through the UnitedHealthcare mobile app, 24/7 Advocate4Me line, and online Virtual Doctor Visits.

3
00:00:24.500 --> 00:00:35.400
Our prescription coverage carrier will be OptumRx, a pharmacy benefit manager with the goal of helping employees lower their prescription costs and achieve better health outcomes.

4
00:00:35.500 --> 00:00:42.400
We will continue to offer 3 comprehensive health plans with offerings ranging from employee to family coverage.

5
00:00:42.500 --> 00:00:59.400
The Affordable Care Act, also known as “Health Care Reform”, requires employers to provide information regarding the new health insurance Marketplaces which allow individuals to purchase individual health insurance policies, often referred to as the “Exchange.”

6
00:00:59.500 --> 00:01:04.400
It’s important that you, as an employee, understand how this new option may affect you and your family.

7
00:01:04.500 --> 00:01:13.400
We encourage you to shop your benefits on the exchange & consider all of your available options to make the best decision possible.

9
00:01:18.400 --> 00:01:25.400
Next, I want to explain some basics about the medical plan options offered. Because we offer more than one plan,

10
00:01:25.500 --> 00:01:31.400
it is important to understand that most of the services covered under all the plan options are the same; however,

11
00:01:31.500 --> 00:01:41.400
the amount of coverage (or dollar amount to be paid) may differ. Each plan has varying deductibles, co-payments, co-insurances, and annual maximum limits.

12
00:01:41.500 --> 00:01:49.400
Deductibles are dollars paid directly by you, before the medical plan starts paying for a particular benefit, such as surgery.

13
00:01:49.500 --> 00:01:55.400
Co-payments are amounts that you pay for, out of your pocket, when you seek qualifying services, such as office visits.

14
00:01:55.500 --> 00:02:02.400
And co-insurance is the amount that you must pay, after the deductible, for a service.

15
00:02:02.500 --> 00:02:10.400
All medical plans meet the federal standards requiring employers to offer minimum value coverage at an affordable level.

16
00:02:10.500 --> 00:02:15.400
We encourage you to shop your benefits & consider all your available options to make the best decision possible.

17
00:02:15.500 --> 00:02:23.400
Please take the time to carefully review the details of each plan so that you can make the decision that will best fit your specific needs.
